Preparation of Dialysis tubing

1)      Boil the tubing on a sitr plate (preferably in the hood) in a 4L volume of 2% (w/v) sodium bicarbonate and 1mM EDTA pH 8.0

2)      Rise the tubing in distilled water thoroughly

3)      Boil for 10 minutes in 1mM EDTA (pH 8.0)

4)      Allow tubing to cool then store it in EtoH at 4C with tubing submerged.

5)      Before use wash out tubing with ddH2o
