This is the website of EMBASE. EMBASE is a biomedical and pharmacological database which gives you access to the most up-to-date information about medical and drug-related subjects. This bibliographic database features highly relevant information, much of which simply cannot be found elsewhere. EMBASE now contains more than 9 million records from 1974 to the present from over 4,000 journals; approximately 450,000 records are added annually and updated weekly. Over 80% of recent records contain full author abstracts. EMBASE features coverage of drug research, nursing, pharmacoeconomics, human medicine, veterinary medicine, biomedical science and biotechnology, psychiatry and alternative and complementary medicine, etc. Access to the Cochrane Library is on a institutional subscription basis. But, this website freely offers a limited dataset (appr. 30,000 records).
